The coordinating project of the Priority Programme 1234 is designed to, first, take on joint topics, problems and issues of the programme, to, second, provide a network and support to activities which are helpful for the interchange and cooperation between the projects within the programme, and to, third, represent the programme and its projects for the research community and beyond. Within the framework of these activities, the coordinating project also aims at providing support to students and young scientists in their research work and their career, by giving access to the combined expertise in the programme.
